Description
Product Name : Ming River Sichuan Baijiu 750mL
Taste Profile : When poured, Ming River Baijiu is crystal clear and bright, with long, slow legs clinging to the glass—suggesting a rich, full-bodied spirit. It presents with a distinct aromatic intensity even before it reaches the nose. On the nose, Ming River is bold and unmistakable: intensely fruity and floral, with ripe tropical notes of overripe pineapple, papaya, lychee, and green banana, interwoven with sweet funk, fermented grain, and hints of anise, jasmine tea, and wet earth. It’s pungent, complex, and reflective of its traditional strong-aroma fermentation. The palate is warm, full, and round. It opens sweet and oily, quickly unfolding into layers of sorghum depth, floral esters, and an exotic mélange of funky fruit and peppery heat. You’ll taste candied pineapple, star anise, white pepper, and a faint touch of soybean umami. It’s unapologetically intense, yet cleanly distilled. Mouthfeel is rich, full-bodied, and slightly oily—providing a deep texture that coats the tongue. Alcohol heat is present but smooth, with balance between sweetness, spice, and lingering ester character. The finish is long and expressive: funky tropical fruit slowly fades into white pepper, crushed herbs, and earthy grain, leaving a warm, satisfying echo.
