Description
In the glass, it is crystal clear, with a clean and bright appearance. On the nose, Gordon’s opens assertively with bold juniper berries up front, followed by citrus peel, especially lemon zest, and soft herbal notes like coriander seed and a trace of angelica root. There’s a dry, slightly peppery background that provides structure and traditional character. The palate is crisp, dry, and refreshing, leading with dominant juniper, balanced by lemon oil, licorice, and gentle earthy spice. The mouthfeel is light to medium-bodied, with no added sweetness, staying true to the London Dry tradition. A subtle hint of grains of paradise or spiced citrus emerges mid-palate, adding complexity without deviating from its clean core. The finish is dry and slightly warming, with lingering notes of piney juniper, peppery spice, and a faint echo of citrus rind
